Burraneer Rays confirm Hydralyte as Major Sponsor of Dubai 7s and Season 2023
Burraneer Women’s Rugby Club (BWRC) have today announced leading hydration company Hydralyte as the major sponsor of this month’s Dubai 7s competition, along with joining the clubs suite of sponsors for the 2023 season.
After a successful domestic season seeing the club crowned champions in the well-recognised Kiama, Sydney, Samoa and Sawtell 7s events, the Rays head to Dubai with hopes of proving they are one of the strongest women’s 7s clubs in the world. The arrangement with Hydralyte provides a major boost to supporting the girls travel costs and considerations to compete in Dubai, not to mention the provision of it’s product used to combat the significant heat and conditions the tournament will be played under in Dubai.
Speaking about the partnership, club captain Chloe Saunder’s said: “We are proud of what we have achieved this year, and to see a company with the esteemed reputation of Hydralyte recognise this and show its support to us and the women’s game is a huge step forward. We really want to test ourselves against the world’s best and to have Hydralyte support women’s rugby through us for the next 12 months is something we are extremely thankful for. We look forward to doing them proud and being the best ambassadors we can for ourselves, our club and our sponsors.”
Hydralyte’s Head Of Sales Brad Burns Said: “I’m delighted that we have committed our support by becoming a major sponsor of the BWRC. The program has been incredibly successful to date and I’m looking forward to not only supporting the club in their quest for glory at the Dubai 7’s, but also supporting the development of women’s rugby in the Sutherland Shire“.
The Dubai International 7s commences on the 1st December and runs for 3 competition days. Stay in touch with the Rays progress via their socials below.
